You've watched it happen. A phrase shows up. Then everyone repeats it. Soon people use it in meetings, in posts, in their own content.

One person coined that phrase. Now they own the entire idea behind it.

That's the Vocabulary Hook. A name turns a thought into property.

Loose ideas drift away. Named ideas get repeated, credited, and spread by other people for free.

Here's how to coin one.

1/ Find the thing with no name

Look for a behavior or feeling your audience knows well but has never labeled.

The dread before hitting publish. The trap of posting for applause. Give the unnamed a name.

2/ Make it short and visual

The best terms fit in two or three words and paint a picture. Swipe file. Doom scroll. Brain rot.

Say your term out loud. If it feels clunky in conversation, cut it down.

3/ Use it like it already exists

Drop your term casually, as if everyone already says it. Repeat it across posts.

Confidence makes a word feel real. Repetition makes it stick.

Coin the right term and your audience carries your idea everywhere they go.
