Engagement Chain Reaction
And why most posts die after the first reply

Welcome back to Viral Examples.
Today (in 2 mins or less) we're exposing how to create posts that spark conversations that keep going long after you've logged off.
Most posts die after the first reply.
But there's a fascinating pattern in posts that generate 100+ genuine comments: They're engineered for conversation chain reactions.
Here's what we discovered after studying posts that consistently generate massive comment chains:
1/ The conversation ladder
Start broad, then drill down.
Instead of "What's your morning routine?"...
…ask "What's the one morning habit you'd never give up, even if someone paid you?"
Now people aren't just sharing — they're defending their choices.
2/ Plant multiple seeds
Weave 2-3 subtle contradictions into your main point. Not enough to weaken it, but enough to make people say "Yes, but..."
For example:
"The best time to post is when your audience is online. But our highest performing post went viral at 3am on a Sunday."
Watch how many people jump in with their own exceptions.
3/ The response pattern
When someone comments, never end the conversation.
Bridge it: "That's fascinating—especially the part about X. Makes me wonder if Y is also true?"
You kinda, sorta need to design your main post to be incomplete. Leave obvious questions unanswered. Create gaps that your audience is qualified to fill.
Because the best conversations come from posts that make people feel like adding their perspective will make the idea complete.
